Welcome to the artist profile of Artillery Saints, aka Ally McKenzie, Scottish musician and songwriter. Artillery Saints began in 2022 with the writing and recording of Beachhead, a song which would appear on their debut LP, Maneki-Neko. The track had a hymnal feel, punctuated by percussive explosions, hence the name Artillery Saints. They are influenced by synth pop, electronica, ambient, psychedelia, film and TV soundtrack music, punk and new wave, classical, prog, folk and beyond. Guitars can sometimes be found among the synths. Currently applying the finishing touches to the fourth LP, due for release late November/early December 2026.
